Out-of-Network Benefits

Some insurance plans offer partial reimbursement for visits to out-of-network providers. You pay the therapist directly and then request reimbursement from your insurer. The process varies by provider but typically requires monthly documentation submission.

What is a Superbill?

A superbill is a detailed receipt that your therapist can provide, containing the session date, provider credentials, diagnosis code, and procedure code (CPT)—all necessary for insurance reimbursement. If you want to use out-of-network (OON) benefits, I can provide superbills upon request. Keep in mind that a mental health diagnosis is required for reimbursement, and sessions may be reviewed by the insurance company.
